School Uniform and Standards
Cornfields prides itself on encouraging an ethos where all pupils take pride in themselves, the school they attend and their friends who also go to the same school. Uniformity and standards within the school are important in ensuring that everybody is included as an integral part of the school.
Uniform
The following gender neutral uniform will be required by all pupils:
Navy jumper with Cornfields logo
(available from the school)
White shirt or polo shirt
Smart grey or black trousers or skirt
(the skirt must be of reasonable length*)
Grey or black socks
Black leather shoes or leather appearance
(no trainers or canvas shoes)
The following additional items will be required for use in school:
Wellies
Waterproof jacket and waterproof trousers if available
2 aprons – one for cooking, one for art
All clothing should be clearly named
Standards
The following standards are expected in school;
Pupils will be of a smart appearance *
Watches are permitted but must not be linked to the internet
Mobile phones will be handed in to the school office during school hours
Medications will be handed in to the school office
* The Head Teacher will arbitrate any issues regarding the suitability of uniform worn or of the standards being displayed.
